Ok my friends. Here I start this new idea. Hopefully you will join me, taste some of the wines, and give me comments as: "Wow man, that wine you recomend really changed my life "
The idea behind is that every now and then, wines get their price down in Norway.
Yes, it happen. Trust me in this one.
So here I'm, sent like Dionisios' angel, to spread the good news!
Here comes the first "anbefaler". Salud!
CHIANTI GRIFO
Former Price: NOK 95,- New price NOK 79,40
A Classic Chianti from Tuscany, Italy. Based in a noble grape called Sangiovese and a 20 % of other local varieties. Is a medium body wine with scents of cherries and lakris. Nice nice Chianti for some pasta with fungi or on its own, Y que se mueran los feos. Not good to drink while watching Ophra Winfrey.
POJEGA VALPOLICELLA - RIPASO
Former price NOK 130, New price 117
Lovely Ripasso from Veneto in Italia. Near where William killed Romeo and Juliet. It's made of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, which are let to dry before the vinification, giving more concentration and fullness to the wine!
If any of you love Amarone, but it is too expensive... well here is the option. Ripaso is the step between a Valpolicella and an Amarone! This with a Risoto with pork meat works fantastic, but its a bomb, so if you want a romantic dinner and some action afterwards... you will need a break before making any move...
ANDEAN MALBEC
NOK 79,- will be about NOK 92 in September.
From Mendoza, Argentina - Made from Malbec, the flagship grape of Argentina -Lovely country, by the way, check http://www.turismo.gov.ar/
Malbec-origin is in Cahors, near Bordeaux in France, and makes elegant wines with scent of red/dark berries, leather and hints of cocoa.
I use Malbec for Grill meat and it works great!
A wine for those who dislike George Bushs' foregin policy.
VINCENT DE MARCA
Former price NOK 76, New price NOK 69,70
From South France. Made of Syrah and Grenache grapes. A very good classic French wine from the Langedoc-Rousillon area . A lot of wine for your money and good for the grilling session, which might not happen this summer, so you just take it for a friends dinner, because the label looks good, the wine taste great, and no one (exept me and the members of this facebook group) will know that it was a bargain.
Ok, that is all for now folks.
Salud y Entusiasmo!
